Obverse of the coin bears a rural girl with a traditional head wear. The inspiration and the model of the portrait is Anatolian traditional dresses collectioner Sabiha Tansuğ, the head piece is an Ankara cap.

Obverse side has a village girl in a traditional head wear. around the portrait is the inscription “TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ”.
Reverse side has a left-facing crescent and star. 50 Kurus face value in the middle and below that is the year of issue. A bunch of wheat ears fill left side, while the right side has olive branches.
